Altar Servers: A wonderful first opportunity for children to begin to serve their Lord and faith community. Any child/teen who has been baptized and celebrated 1st Communion, can be a candidate.

Church Choirs: Adult, Youth and Children’s Choirs serve our parish by leading the congregation in song at our liturgies. The children’s choir-Tuesday at 6pm, Young adult choir -Tuesday at 7pm. Adult choir -Thursday at 6:45pm. Schola Cantorum -Thursday at 8pm. Times for choirs may shift during the year.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist: This group of special ministers assists the Mass celebrant with the distribution of the Eucharist. Some of these ministers also meet the continuing spiritual needs of the parishioners who are homebound or institutionalized.(See “Ministry to the Sick”)

Little Children’s Liturgy: This ministry gathers children 3-6 years of age in music, story and song for
Liturgy of the Word for 10am and 12noon Sunday Masses. Helpers must complete training and attend Protecting God’s Children program.

Lectors: This ministry proclaims the 1st and 2nd readings during the Mass. They meet once a week on Wednesday at 7pm in the church to
prepare for the Sunday readings.

Ministers to the Sick and Shut-Ins: These ministers serve people hospitalized, in nursing homes or confined to private homes, providing them an opportunity to pray and to receive the Eucharist. Any practicing Catholic 18 or older may apply. Training program provided.

Sacristans: This ministry prepares the liturgies ensuring everything is in order for the Celebration at hand.

Ushers: Ushers assist at parish liturgies whenever needed. At Mass, they help find seating, take up
collections and supervise Communion lines.
