Hospitality Ministries
Sunday Hospitality: This ministry, serving coffee and donuts, encourages fellowship among our parish family after Sunday masses. Helpers are always welcome. Contact: Elsia Lyon through the parish office 657-0200.
Senior Luncheons: This ministry provides lunch and fellowship for our parishioners over 55 years of age every other month. Helpers are always welcome. Contact: Bob Chiodo through the parish office 657-0200.

Liturgy and Music
Altar Linens: Linens are washed and pressed by a group of people that keep the Mass linens fresh and spotless. Contact: Mary Lou Bodan through the parish office 657-0200.
Altar Servers: A wonderful first opportunity for children to begin to serve their Lord and faith community. Any child/teen who has been baptized and celebrated 1st Communion, can be a candidate. Contact: Marie Ricci through the parish office 657-0200.
Church Choirs: Adult, Youth and Children’s Choirs serve our parish by leading the congregation in song at our liturgies. The Children’s Choir (ages 5+) serves monthly at the 12pm Mass and rehearses on Wednesdays at 6pm (except during the month of July). The Youth Choir (ages 11+) serves weekly at the 5pm Mass and rehearses on Tuesdays at 7pm. The Adult Choir (ages 14+) serves weekly at the 10am Mass and rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:45pm. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist: This group of special ministers assists the Mass celebrant with the distribution of the Eucharist. Some of these ministers also meet the continuing spiritual needs of the parishioners who are homebound or institutionalized.(See “Ministry to the Sick”) Contact: Marge Nelson through the parish office 657-0200.
Lectors: This ministry proclaims the 1st and 2nd readings during the Mass. They meet once a week on Thursday at 7pm in the church to prepare for the Sunday readings. Contact thru parish office 657-0200.
Ministers to the Sick and Shut-Ins: These ministers serve people hospitalized, in nursing homes or confined to private homes, providing them an opportunity to pray and to receive the Eucharist. Any practicing Catholic 18 or older may apply. Training program provided. Contact: Deacon Frank Oettinger through parish office 657-0200.
Sacristans: This ministry prepares the liturgies ensuring everything is in order for the Celebration at hand. Contact: Max Fightmaster through the parish office 657-0200.
Ushers: Ushers assist at parish liturgies whenever needed. At Mass, they help find seating, take up collections and supervise Communion lines. Contact: through the parish office 657-0200.

Parish Organizations
St. John Neumann Junior High Youth Groups: This junior high youth group program for grades 6-8 provides opportunities to become actively involved with the parish and community. This group meets 2nd Tuesday and last Friday of each month 6-7:30pm Contact: Jenn Bauchrowitz through parish office 657-0200.
SJNC Marthas and Marys Women’s Group: This is an organization open to women of the parish 18 years of age or older.Meetings are 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm. These Catholic women begin with prayer and have fun while also helping to provide assistance in meeting the needs of the parish community. Contact: through parish office 657-0200.
SJNC Men’s Club: This is an organization open to men of the parish 21 years of age or older. It provides fellowship and also supports parish activities when called upon. Voluntary dues are $25 per year. Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7pm. Contact: John Lucas through parish office 657-0200.

Social Ministries
Outreach: Outreach helps individuals and families in need with a “Clothes Closet” and Food Pantry. Outreach is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am–12noon. Contact: Contact: Marge Pinto through parish office 657-0200.

Parish Resources
Gift Shop: Gift shop is open before and after every Mass and for special events. To volunteer to work in the gift shop. Contact: Nelda Schaffer through the parish office 657-0200
Office Volunteers: These helpers do a variety of clerical jobs such as reception, bulletin stuffing, filing and preparing bulk mailings. Contact parish office 657-0200
Art & Environment: This group helps to create the environment for the liturgical year with decorations, etc. Contact parish office 657-0200
